GIBB IT TILL IT HURTS
Manager: CaineWally
BUILT TO CONTEND. WIRED TO TINKER.
Never rebuilding. Rarely standing still.
LSU lives permanently in win-now mode. The roster is almost always dangerous, but the franchise’s greatest threat may be its own refusal to stop hunting for the next trade.

CURRENT POWER RANKING
Gibb still has one of the scariest collections of individual talent in the league, but the roster took a major hit at exactly the wrong time.
Jalen Hurts, Jahmyr Gibbs, Christian McCaffrey and Brian Thomas still give this team enough top-end firepower to beat anyone. Gibbs just scored 39.90 in Week 3, while McCaffrey and Jaylen Warren both cleared 20.
The problem is that De'Von Achane is now out for the season with a torn ACL. That removes one of the roster's biggest weekly ceiling pieces and makes the backfield far more dependent on Gibbs and McCaffrey staying healthy and carrying the load.
The rest of the lineup has also been too uneven. Tetairoa McMillan, Stefon Diggs, Courtland Sutton and the tight end spot have not provided enough consistent support, and another respectable team score still turned into another loss.
Gibb is now 2-4 with 381.90 points and sits outside the playoff field. The roster still has elite names, but losing Achane makes the lack of depth much harder to ignore.
CURRENT READ: Desperation mode. The ceiling is still dangerous, but the margin for error is shrinking fast.

WHY LSU IS DANGEROUS
- Elite Burrow / Chase stack
- Multiple legitimate weekly RB options
- Strong Superflex stability
- Unusual TE depth with Andrews and Kelce
- Enough depth to survive normal lineup volatility
- Management is aggressively willing to improve the roster
WHAT COULD BLOW IT UP
- Constant trade hunting introduces unnecessary roster volatility
- Veteran-heavy win-now pieces shorten the margin for patience
- Good players are rarely treated as untouchable
- The franchise can create holes while trying to solve problems that did not exist
FRANCHISE PHILOSOPHY
LSU has operated in perpetual win-now mode from the beginning. As a co-commissioner franchise, the expectation is not simply to remain competitive but to actively shape the league around it. No roster is ever considered finished. LSU routinely leads the league in transactions, hunts trades relentlessly and treats inactivity like a roster-management failure.
That aggression is both the franchise’s defining advantage and its recurring danger. LSU is almost always a threat to the rest of the league, and occasionally a threat to itself.

FRANCHISE LORE
- Co-commissioner franchise
- Perpetually in win-now mode
- Religiously among the league leaders in transactions
- Rarely satisfied with the current roster
- Every player is theoretically available for the right deal
- The franchise’s greatest rival may occasionally be its own transaction log
FRANCHISE HISTORY
LSU’s history is defined less by eras of rebuilding than by constant roster churn in pursuit of the next competitive edge. The franchise expects to contend every season and approaches roster construction with the subtlety of a general manager whose phone battery never survives the trade deadline.
