BLOCKBUSTER TRADE
LSU EMPTIES THE CLIP
September 22, 2026
Justin Herbert and Ladd McConkey weren’t enough. Less than 24 hours later, Les Snead University added Saquon Barkley and Davante Adams too.
Two trades. Four major additions. One very clear message: LSU is all-in.
The arms race in the dynasty landscape has officially reached critical mass. Less than 24 hours after sending shockwaves through the league by acquiring Justin Herbert and Ladd McConkey, Les Snead University doubled down in a terrifying display of absolute asset liquidation. General Manager Les Snead has emptied the clip, executing ironclad blockbusters back-to-back to secure Saquon Barkley and Davante Adams.
This is not a conservative team waiting for a window to open. This is a front office that looks at draft capital as nothing more than unspent points. By packaging future value for immediate elite production, LSU has effectively shifted the entire balance of power within the conference. Two trades. Four major additions. One very clear message: LSU is all-in.
LSU is not protecting future flexibility. It is converting it into points.
Critics will point to the age profile of the newly acquired assets, noting that Davante Adams and Saquon Barkley represent extreme immediate pushes rather than long-term stability. But in a league where premier top-tier starting talent wins championships, maximizing the present timeline is the most logical high-variance move. LSU has consciously chosen absolute dominance today over theoretical value tomorrow.
THE VERDICT
Les Snead University has chosen their path, discarding safe long-term planning for immediate championship equity. The roster no longer projects as a high-potential build; it stands as an absolute juggernaut equipped to overpower anyone in its way. Future flexibility has been fully converted into point-scoring dominance.
